    • Hands on assistance to city officials who want to start, refocus or energize downtown enhancement efforts. Specific strategies and actions other communities are taking to breathe new life into their downtown.

  • THE MUNICIPAL ROLE IN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

    • Indiana Economic Development Corporation presenters provide insight into what businesses really look for when locating their facilities and the municipality's role in attracting and growing new businesses.

  • ETHICS FOR MUNICIPALS OFFICIALS

    • Promoting integrity in the workplace. Municipalities need effective systems and resources in order to make ethical and sound decisions. Covering the essential elements of effective ethics policies and the role of municipal officials in promoting an ethical workforce.

  • Introduced amendments to the current “Dog Ordinance”

  • Allowing dogs in Fieke Park and Eastside ParkTonya reading at Goodnight Garrett

  • Has been a "celebrity reader" at the Goodnight Garrett program at the Garrett Public Library for six straight years

    • Tonya has been the only elected official reading to Garrett's children in the past few years at this event.
