Why Ted is Running for City Council
“My goal as council person is to fully represent the 4th District's wants and needs while striving to “grow” Garrett. Our city needs council members who are willing to listen to its citizens concerns and be open to new ideas. As the councilman from the 4th district, I will always have an open ear and be responsive to constituent concerns. Also, I will be a good financial steward of taxpayer dollars while striving to make our city a better place for families and businesses to thrive.
What Ted hopes to Accomplish as your Councilman
1. Excellent Representation I will welcome an open door policy and represent all opinions at meetings and forums.
2. Financial Stability I believe the best fiscal policy for our city is to run our city like a business. I will strive to be a good steward of your hard-earned tax dollars.
3. Elected Official Pay Fiscally responsible and ethical elected officials should not vote their own pay raises. All candidates seek election already knowing what the pay for their term is, and I will work to enact policies that will prevent such unethical practices.
